Saturday evening mum and I headed to the grocery store for two vegetarian dinner dishes. yum. We made pasta with cherry tomatoes and a tasty sauce:

I just want to say that it feels really nice to learn and to enjoy my assignments. Yes, I am stressed and it's still pretty hectic but I love taking 4 courses. It's enough work and stress to still feel alive and not like I want to give up on everything! I feel like I am actually learning something as opposed to just trying to get stuff out of the way. I don't hate every single assignment or the readings I am doing and I have to give credit to the fact that I'm almost positive it has to do with a lighter course load. Which isn't to say that I can't handle a large course load, because at OCAD, 4 courses IS a large course load! Anything after that is just insane! I am just so happy that I stuck to my guns and did something I wanted to do. It feels good to know I took a risk and I didn't end up flat on my face like last year! This was my decision and I think I made a pretty good one! All I know is that I am happy and I am learning and I think that's the most important thing.

Lately it's been those moments where I know I will remember them and don't necessarily feel the need to take my camera out!

Last Sunday night I went to Alex's for dinner again, which I quite missed and enjoyed!

This past week of school was hectic but thankfully dad drove me down on Tuesday because I was seriously exhausted and was going to be late for the bus! Friday I managed to print two projects just in time! Luckily, this week won't be too heavy, plus I received great news regarding the Thanksgiving holiday- I will only be going to class one day of that week, which is actually next week! :)

Friday night Alex and I spent it at his house because his mom wanted him home for various reasons. Last night we headed over to JK's for a party since her parents were away all weekend.


I honestly can't believe it's already October and I cannot wait for Thanksgiving!

Well, I'm trying to get my creative juices flowing by updating...

Last Friday, the 18th I went to the bar with Sam & Katie. It was incredibly nice because the three of us had kind of lost touch near the end of grade 12 and then last year we all moved away for first year uni.! The night was a much needed change of pace. I met them around 9:30pm at the Bear and Firkin pub where we downed soo many drinks lol I haven't drank that much while I've been out before, it was fun! Near the end of the night these old guys sat beside and as a whole slew of events unfolded, of which I shall keep to myself (nothing bad! jeez). Alex ended up meeting me at the pub as I was leaving so he spent the night.

Saturday I managed to fit in some reading lol I actually enjoy reading my History of Typography textbook, but there are definitely times when I could think of better things to be doing. Anyway, I ended up finishing the reading so that I could head over to Andrew's party for the night. Probably one of the best summer parties I've been too, even though I think it was like the first day of fall or something lol Either way, I had a great time!

Sunday was Oma's birthday party with the family and then I went to Alex's house for dinner and cuddling! Both visits were long overdue!

Well, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday were days filled with exhaustion and lots of work! Classes are going well and I'm not feeling too overwhelmed or stressed!


Thursday I went to the Jenni's house to pick up her Canon Rebel XTi DSLR!!! I had a nice time since I hadn't seen her for a while! I was happy to spend time with her and get the dslr :) Plus, I ended up having dad pick me up from her place so we could enjoy dinner together!
I've been messing around with the camera, trying out the settings and loving it to death! These are some semi-interesting photos I've captured thus far; though nothing too great!


Last night Alex and I got together. We haven't been spending as much time together because of school and he's been working so it was nice to have a movie, couch and cuddle night! We watched Terminator 4 and I really enjoyed it!
Today my mom had had enough with out eldest cat, Sassy. She's been incredibly angry because of the new kitten and decided to excrement randomly throughout the house! I did some research on how to stop all of these and we've started the process! I'm hoping this works because I can't lose her and it's really disgusting!

After sleeping over at my dads for two nights, Laura and I decided to drive over to this really tasty ice cream shop and then headed down Liverpool for a walk along the beach. It was really nice to see her again and be down near the water.

Thursday was dinner with dad and another walk by the beach, which is where the photos below came from. It was nice! Although, I really do want another camera!

Friday, the 4th, I woke up extremely early to head downtown via the GO so I could meet Jen at OCAD around 9am. We waited for about an hour and finally got in to see the osap councellor and thankfully everything went smoothly. After osap we renewed our student ID cards and luckily I was able to catch the 12 train home! Once home I napped for a bit before Lex came over. We honestly did a lot of nothing but watch tv and chat about the past, the present and the future.


Saturday morning I woke up early again as Lex had work at 9am and Laura was picking me up at 11am so we could do some shopping! I had a really great time with Laura! We went everywhere, unfortunately I couldn't buy too much since I am still waiting for OSAP but it was really awesome to spend most of the afternoon with her. Once home I needed a nap! I woke up around 6 and decided to get ready for Billy's birthday at the Bear and Firkin Pub. It was the first time I had seen Alex since he got back from Wasaga on Friday. I had a really great time, seeing Alex again and hanging out with everyone. Though I was definitely exhausted when Alex and I got back to my place that night.


Sunday afternoon dad picked us up so all of us could have an end of the summer/back to school dinner with Shelley and her kids. I had such a great time! The food was delicious and it was nice to spend time with everyone. We all played Taboo which was wicked lol. On the way home dad dropped me off at the Irish Times Pub so Alex and I could hang out with Morgan and Hannah. I had a nice time with them, it had been a while since we last got together and I definitely want to do it again soon! Monday Alex and I woke up and spent the day together, which was nice after not seeing him while he was away.
